Nitta has been fortunate enough to work on the Cabbage Patch Kids brand with toy manufacturer, Wicked Cool Toys, for more than 3 years — and most recently we partnered with the WCT to develop and produce their TV and Digital spot for the legacy brands line-up of product, Adoptimals.

About

Nitta was engaged to create a promotional video that highlighted adoption, nurturing, and the friendly tone of brand — while creating a look that feels fresh, fun, and new for Cabbage Patch Kids. Early on in discussions we decided that we want to feature adoption as the focal point of the story — and what better way to celebrate new family than with a party. With concept locked Nitta began pre-production including location scouting, talent casting, wardrobe, storyboard, and script. Ultimately the spot was shot on location in the suburbs of Los Angeles with three talented young actors.

Brand Fact
In 1976 21 year old art student, Xavier Roberts, rediscovers “needle molding” a German technique for fabric sculpture from the early 1800s. Combining his interest in sculpture with the quilting skills passed down from his mother, Xavier creates his first soft-sculptures.
